Body Sculpting

What is Body Sculpting?

Our body sculpting is a totally noninvasive fat reduction and muscle toning treatment that uses high intensity focused electro-magnetic technology (HIFEM) and radio frequency (RF) emitted through a device that straps onto your body in the areas you want to target fat loss. The sessions last around 30 minutes and there is no downtime at all. You can leave your session and go back to work after your lunch break or even hit the gym.

How does Body Sculpting get rid of fat?

The radio frequency used in our body sculpting heats up the fat cells up to a maximum of 44 degrees Celcius. Cell apoptosis occurs between 42 and 44 degrees Celcius, resulting in cell death. When the cells die, the body naturally releases them through the lymphatic system over time. As the fat cells are destroyed, the fat loss that results from body sculpting is permanent.

Does it really work?

Yes! Clinical trials have shown that participants who received these body sculpting treatments experienced an average fat loss of 30% and an average muscle mass increase of 25%.

The HIFEM contracts muscles at 300 times the rate they are capable of contracting on their own, which produces incredibly effective results in increased muscle mass. For those who are slimmer and looking to put on some sculpted muscle, it is a great way to add muscle mass. While those who are concerned with fat loss will be able to lose fat and gain muscle tone, a total win-win.

What technologies does it use?

The EMSculpt machine harnesses the dual power of HIFEM and RF to work the muscles while melting fat at the same time. This is the only treatment that offers both effects during the same session. With its advanced technology, clients can book one convenient session and get stunning results in fat loss and muscle toning all in one.

Does Body Sculpting hurt?

No. The area where you are receiving the treatment will feel warm, but not to the point of discomfort. Additionally, you will notice your muscles feeling like they are getting a workout. Clients have described it as getting a hot stone massage at the same time they are getting a great workout.

The best part is there is absolutely no scarring or downtime. Some clients may experience a little soreness in their muscles afterward, just like you would after an intense workout.

What areas can be treated?

Body sculpting is ideal for treating the usual problem areas: thighs, hips, waist, abdomen, back and arms. Say goodbye to love handles, muffin tops, and bat wings, and say hello to more sculpted and tighter skin. Body sculpting does not just get rid of fat and increase muscle, but it also improves skin evenness and reduces the appearance of cellulite, giving you smoother, firmer skin.

It can also be used to strengthen the pelvic floor area, strengthening the muscles and reducing incidences of incontinence in new mothers or women who have weak pelvic floor muscles.

How Fast Will I See Results from Body Sculpting?

Most clients see results immediately after receiving our body sculpting treatment! Its full effect will take about 12 weeks after the last session as that is the amount of time the body will take to flush out all the fat cells that were destroyed. During this time, you will see incremental fat loss. As you lose target fat, the muscle toning will be more apparent as well.

Is Body Sculpting Safe?

Yes! Our body sculpting is a safe and effective fat loss and muscle toning treatment. It is not considered a weight-loss treatment and is not intended to replace a healthy diet or exercise regime.

Women who are pregnant are not recommended to receive the treatments, however, post-natal moms will love the extra help losing the baby weight that it can provide.

It is contraindicative for those who use pacemakers due to the radio frequency used in the treatments which may interfere with the pacemaker device.

How many sessions of Body Sculpting do I need?

We generally recommend an initial series of 4 treatments, spaced 5-10 days apart. Depending on your goals and needs, more sessions may be added to your treatment plan.
